Duane Rivett

Co-Founder & VP Strategic Growth, Fivecast

Duane has more than 20-years of experience in research, commercialisation, and tech start-up sector. Duane is a co-founder and VP Strategic Growth at Fivecast, a world leading provider of digital intelligence solutions, used and trusted by leading defence, national security, law enforcement, corporate security, and financial intelligence organisations around the world. In 2017, Fivecast was formed from a unique research collaboration between government agencies and world-leading research institutions. In 2023, Fivecast raised a US$20m in VC funding, and has over 120 employees worldwide, with offices in Australia, Washington DC and London.

Prior to his roles at Fivecast and D2D CRC, Duane held senior management roles in several innovative start-up companies, and managed commercialisation projects for the University of Adelaide. Duane has a Masters’ Degree in biochemistry and an MBA specialising in technology management.
