The internship opportunity will involve feasibility, design, testing of robotic systems across the lifecycle and engineering disciplines. You could be working on part of the deep tech perception stack, or building out next-gen analytics platform for decarbonisation and impact.
The internship will allow you to gain exposure to a wide variety of engineering challenges across embedded, software, data, AI/ML/perception, and mechatronics+ hardware systems.
During the internship, you will undergo extensive mentoring across the chosen field(s) of expertise to solve advanced engineering problems. You’ll have the opportunity to showcase your skills, learn, and put your initiative to practice. You’ll be building out real-world technology alongside some of the world’s best engineers.
You will be supported through an employment contract with Hullbot at a minimum rate of $1,200 per week. This paid internship opportunity is made possible through a co-funded arrangement between Defence Trailblazer and Hullbot.

The internship is anticipated to commence the end of March 2025 and can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis (2-3 days/week) over a 6-month period, for a maximum of 60 business days.
The student will be appropriately supervised by a qualified Hullbot staff engineer.
The placement will be conducted in-person at the Hullbot office in Rozelle, Sydney.
At the conclusion of the internship, ongoing opportunities may be available for suitable candidates interested in employment with Hullbot.
