President, Australian Industry & Defence Network (AIDN) – SA | Strategic Engagement Partner, DEWC Services
Graham Priestnall, OAM, is a respected leader in Australia’s defence industry. He has over 50 years of combined experience in the ADF and defence industry. Graham is the current President of AIDN‑SA and has undertaken senior leadership roles within AIDN for over 20 years. AIDN is a defence industry organisation which supports small mediums enterprises (SMEs) in the defence industry, this support includes fostering collaboration between SMEs, Primes, government, and academia.
In his role as Strategic Engagement Partner at DEWC Services, Graham focuses on supporting the business through engagement with Government, politicans and other key stakeholders. This engagement seeks to inform stakeholders about DEWC’s extensive sovereign information warfare capabilities and explore potential partnering arrangements.
Graham’ s contribution to todays’ Insight Webinar is based on his extensive defence industry experience, specifically his role as Chief Operating Officer at Asension, where he played a significant role in shepherding the company’s first international export – the Wombat 19‑inch rack sensor suite. This system was successfully delivered to the UK, marking Asension’s debut on the global stage. This is experience provided him with many insights, which Graham will share in the Webinar.
