The internship opportunity will involve joining DEWC Services to assist with intelligence automation or life-cycle management of machine learning algorithms for Defence.
During the internship, you will undergo extensive mentoring in industry best practice design methodologies, exposing you to the tools and processes used to develop software and/or machine learning models for DEWC Services clients. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience while working in a Defence environment at DSTG Edinburgh or at the company’s facilities in Mawson Lakes SA.
You will be supported through an employment contract with DEWC Services at a minimum rate of $1,200 per week. This paid internship opportunity is made possible through a co-funded arrangement between Defence Trailblazer and DEWC Services

This face-to-face internship is anticipated to commence in May 2025 and will be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis for a total internship duration of 60 business days.
You will be appropriately supervised by qualified DEWC Services staff.
At the conclusion of the internship, full-time employment opportunities may be considered for suitable candidates interested in future employment with DEWC Services.

The company provides specialised expertise to Defence in the areas of applied software engineering, sensor and effector mission engineering, and threat and vulnerability analysis. Services provided to Defence assist Defence with capability development, research and development, acquisition and implementation, and operational support.
