Professor Jonathan Morris

Pro Vice Chancellor Research Training and Dean of Graduate Research

Professor Morris’s research interests are focused on the development of organic molecules to be used in biomedical research. In particular, he is interested in the use of natural products as biomedical agents. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute and holds six licensed patents in the design and development of molecules to modulate biological function. He is the co-founder of Emenda Therapeutics Ltd.

He is also the Chair of the Universitas 21 (U21) Deans and Director and Graduate Studies (DDoGs) in addition to his role as Pro Vice Chancellor Research and Training and Dean of Graduate Research at UNSW where he provides academic leadership and strategic direction to UNSW to enhance the experience of UNSW’s HDR candidates and supervisors.
