Warspite Systems is an Australian defence technology company developing a counter-UAS effector designed to integrate with the standard-issue service rifles soldiers already carry, providing an effective response to fast-moving one-way attack drones. The system uses a purely mechanical delayed-separation mechanism to distribute its kinetic elements across a controlled dispersal pattern in flight, substantially improving engagement probability against small, agile aerial targets. It contains no electronics, fuzing, or terminal guidance. Production draws on existing manufacturing processes and supply chains, keeping unit costs and cycle times close to those of conventional equivalents and allowing output to scale without new specialised infrastructure.
