My experience at Praetorian Aeronautics was amazing. I learnt so much about aircraft design, engineering processes and the defence industry. It was a great opportunity to apply the knowledge I had learnt at university to the design of a new aircraft. I worked directly with aerospace engineers and received great mentorship to improve my engineering knowledge. Additionally, I was taught how to use a number of different programs which will greatly benefit me throughout my career.

Working in a group of like-minded students was a fantastic way to learn the importance of teamwork within an engineering project, and engage with a diverse set of skills and opinions.
I definitely recommend Praetorian to other students who would like to gain real-world experience in the defence industry to supplement their studies and improve their engineering skillset. I’ve signed a contract to start full-time next year, so I can confirm that I enjoyed my time there!
