Over thirty-five industry partners are on a mission to accelerate defence innovation and strengthen our national security by joining forces with the Defence Trailblazer program.
The $240 million program will focus on building defence workforce capabilities and co-designing multi-domain solutions for the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
The Defence Trailblazer for Concept to Sovereign Capability program has taken another step in being formalised with the conditions of grant being finalised and the announcement of the board members. It is estimated that the project, a partnership between the University of Adelaide and UNSW Sydney, will have a net economic benefit to the Australian economy of $1.5 billion over 10 years.
A leading defence industry specialist with more than 30 years’ experience in the sector has been appointed as Executive Director of the Defence Trailblazer for Concept to Sovereign Capability. It is estimated that the project, a partnership between the University of Adelaide and the UNSW, will have a net economic benefit to the Australian economy of $1.5 billion over 10 years.
The Defence Trailblazer: Concept to Sovereign Capability (DTB) bid, led by the University of Adelaide in partnership with the University of New South Wales, has been endorsed to assist the country’s economic recovery under the Trailblazer Universities Program.
