UNSW Sydney and Northrop Grumman Australia are partnering to develop new sovereign capability for the Australian Defence Force. Through its Advanced Innovation Fund (AIF), the Defence Trailblazer program will contribute $5.1 million to support the establishment of a Quantum Silicon (Q-Si) Production Plant, which aims to deliver an end-to-end Australian manufacturing facility producing enriched silicon for silicon quantum computers.
