In an era where technological advancements are rapidly transforming the defence landscape, Australia’s defence capabilities must evolve to meet new challenges. The introduction of Defence Trailblazer’s Combat Systems Engineering (CSE) Micro-credentials represents a significant step forward in strengthening Australia’s defence industry.
The Defence Trailblazer is pleased to announce a new way for learners to expand their knowledge and advance their career in less time and with increased flexibility through Combat Systems Engineering (CSE) Micro-credentials.
Our CSE Micro-credentials have been co-developed with defence industry, and will be delivered by our university partners to address a critical gap in system engineering expertise in Australia.
Through the IRP, a PhD candidate from the University of Adelaide, Chung Fang, is now working at Saab Australia to research how large-scale autonomous swarms can assist difficult underwater missions with their ability to cover a larger sea area, sense more objects, and do this at a lower cost than traditional crewed assets.
SRC Aus has partnered with the Defence Trailblazer to provide an internship for a young professional to gain industry experience in the development and testing of electronic warfare sensors to support Defence capability.
The Defence Trailblazer is seeking research proposals from our industry partners. Our Industry Research Program (IRP) is an opportunity for partners to access highly skilled postgraduate research students to work on an industry research project full-time or part-time for up to 4 years.
