The International Program will deliver a targeted international program focused on knowledge exchange, capability uplift, strategy development and network activation.
The International Pathways Program leverages proven expertise and international networks across Governments and industry to support Defence Trailblazer partners and scale-up companies ready to take the next step globally. Past participants have successfully accessed key allied markets, demonstrating the tangible impact of targeted international engagement.

This exclusive program will support up to 10 companies through a structured journey focused on:
- Export readiness and market preparedness
- Capability uplift through expert-led sessions
- Direct access to global networks and opportunities
Participants will gain practical insights into critical areas such as defence export controls, international finance, market entry strategies, and cultural considerations across key allied markets including the US, UK and Japan.
Program Overview
During July 2026, participants will engage in six short high-value webinars and interactive workshops, including:
- Geostrategic considerations in formulating export plans
- Expert briefings from Austrade and Team Defence Australia (TDA)
- Deep dives into export finance, treasury management, and compliance
- Hardware and software accreditation considerations
- Market-specific insights for the United States, United Kingdom and Japan
The program will conclude with a one-day International Pathways Opportunities Day on Monday, 3 August 2026, hosted in Adelaide. This in-person event features a dynamic speed-networking format, connecting participants with:
- Global Supply Chain representatives
- International Defence Attachés
- Venture capital investors
