From the 12th to the 14th of July, the 2024 cohort of Entrepreneurial Foundations for Defence (EFD) program came together in Adelaide at the National Wine Centre of Australia for a three-day intensive. The 23 innovators in the cohort were selected through a competitive process from a large number of applicants.
Delivered by the Defence Trailblazer Innovation team and supported by ThincLab, participants had the opportunity to work with key subject matter experts across Defence and defence industry. Our focus throughout the intensive and the EFD program is supporting participants to progress their Defence Readiness, Technical Readiness and Commercial Readiness.
The enormous value of an in-person event was highlighted with the side-conversations that happened over the three days, and each night, with participants having lots of time to network with experts, mentors and investors. There is already many new connections and new opportunities that are underway as a result.
To all the participants, experts, mentors and investors that came along, thanks for joining us. Thanks for the energy, the collaborative spirit, your willingness to learn and be open to opportunity. We look forward to working with you over the next few weeks.
