On the 11 September, the Defence Trailblazer team had the privilege of taking 15 bright students on a tour of the Space Machines Company Sydney facility, co-located at the UTS Tech Lab. The cohort received a:
- Welcome from Chief of Staff Ben Spoor
- Briefing on technical capabilities by Aerospace Engineer Michael Yaacoub
- Heard from current Space Machines Company interns about working with space and defence industry
- Heard directly from CEO Raj Kulshrestha about the foundation Space Machines Company and how the firm is pushing the boundaries of space technology.
From advanced manufacturing techniques to space innovation in orbital servicing, students witnessed the incredible possibilities that lie ahead in the Australian space sector.
