Defence Trailblazer’s DINAMIC innovation & entrepreneurship program has taken out the Best Training & Development Program at the Australian Defence & National Security Workforce Awards 2026.
The program has been recognised for its role in training Australian researchers and innovators to navigate the pathway from emerging venture to Defence capability.
DINAMIC stands apart from other generalist accelerators. Its overarching goal is to make a positive contribution to Australia’s sovereignty and security by upskilling and uplifting innovators and entrepreneurs to quickly deliver innovations and technologies for Defence.
In 2025, Defence Trailblazer upskilled and uplifted a record number of researchers, innovators and ventures.
- DINAMIC supported over 100 innovators to fast-track their ideas to commercialisation
- As a result, more than 50 ventures carried out tech demonstrations to Defence or defence industry.
2026 DINAMIC PROGRAM
Applications are now open for Defence Trailblazer’s live, two-day Commercialisation Bootcamps, delivered in person in Adelaide or Canberra, or online. Each bootcamp is designed for researchers and innovators with limited commercialisation experience but with a keen interest in developing a novel service or product for the defence industry.
